Doubtful, there's a big human element involved in the care giving. It requires a lot of compassion to do what these people do, especially for home bound individuals in senior care. At best, automation will probably handle some of the more physical aspects like bathing and food delivery, while caretakers will take on a role with a greater emphasis on socializing and talking to patients.

Health care aides and personal care aides not only bath, wash and feed patients but they listen to them, provide companionship and emotional support, not just to the patient but to the family as well. This is not replaceable.
